Kesem studio (Ulpan Hakesem אולפן הקסם) is an interactive experiential visiting center in Hertzliya Studios where kids and families learn hands-on the methods in which television & film are created. The 220 sq. studio was established on the grounds of the historic home of the founder of Herzliya Studios, Margot Klausner. The design of the space, something between a tv studio and a magical house, features seven rooms, each offers a different interactive activity for the visitors the explore. Combining old movie-making technics and new technologies.

Visitors create their own unique stories and record them by scanning their personal RFID bracelet at each station, and at the end of the visit they digitally receive their all their movies, animations, and sounds.

Each visitor receives a RFID bracelet. At the entry station visitors add their name, an e-mail address and choose their avatar. They then scan the bracelet at the various stations to record the movies made in the studio. Movies are saved and sent to the visitor’s email at the end of the session.
